Want to do an art piecewhere I write a letter describing my life and myself and print off a bunch of copies and hand them out to random people and leave them on the train and other places I go and have an email (or ideally a mailing address) and have people write to me describing their lives. I don’t know what I would do with this but maybe this would further demolish my fears of solipsism.
My friend Ian who lives in California and is assistant to a rich producer sent me a picture of a stick n poke horse that he got from a girl with a septum ring that he fell in love with.
The fact that he did this makes me feel okay.
Everyone likes to talk about themselves and that is okay. That is how we are. I want to do this art piece so people have someone to talk about themselves to. The world is confusing and weird and I want people to realize that they are not alone in the struggle to make sense of things. Everyone has something to say and I want them to say it to me.
